The protection of your personal data is important to us. Below we inform you how we handle the data you provide in the Escape Guide app.

2. Data collected
The following data is collected and processed by players in the app:
- Group names
- Player names
- E-Mail-Adresse
In addition, a photo of the group is taken at the end of the game. This photo is stored and sent exclusively for the purpose of sending it by email to the specified player addresses.
3. Purpose of processing
The collected data is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- Carrying out check-in / player registration
- Sending the team photo by email
- (optional) Newsletter signup if actively chosen by the player
No further use of the data takes place.
4. No disclosure to third parties
Personal data and photos are not passed on to third parties.
5. Storage and deletion
The photos are only stored for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose of sending them. They are then deleted. Player data is used exclusively within the app and is not stored or analyzed for other purposes.
6. No tracking or analytics tools
No tracking or analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) are used in the app.
7. Legal basis
The processing of the data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent). When creating a player, users agree to the terms and conditions and this privacy policy.
8. Newsletter
A subscription to the newsletter only takes place if the player selects this voluntarily. Consent can be revoked at any time using the unsubscribe link contained in the newsletter.
9. User rights
Every user has the following rights under the GDPR:
- Information about the stored data
- Correction of incorrect data
- Deletion of stored data
- Restriction of processing
- Revocation of consent with effect for the future
For this purpose, an informal request by email to the controller is sufficient.
10. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect the data from unauthorized access, loss or misuse.
